The Lord has directed us to go to Kalomo at Kalomo Baptist Church. Kalomo is a town located in the Southern Province of Zambia. It is located in the most Southerly parts of the country and on the main road and railway line to and from Lusaka.

This town served as the administrative centre when the Southern parts of this country were still a part of Rhodesia. The town of Kalomo houses the Namwianga Mission station and is home to the Batonga people.

The village of Kalundu Mound, established in about the ninth century, can be found nearby. The Administrator’s House can still be found in Kalomo.

Kalomo is a rural district and is mainly dependent on farming as it has very few companies offering jobs to the indigenous people.
