2025 Conference - Kalomo, Zambia
July 28, 2025 - August 1, 2025
The Lord has directed us to go to Kalomo at Kalomo Baptist Church. Kalomo is a town located in the Southern Province of Zambia. It is located in the most Southerly parts of the country and on the main road and railway line to and from Lusaka.
This town served as the administrative centre when the Southern parts of this country were still a part of Rhodesia. The town of Kalomo houses the Namwianga Mission station and is home to the Batonga people.
The village of Kalundu Mound, established in about the ninth century, can be found nearby. The Administrator’s House can still be found in Kalomo.
Kalomo is a rural district and is mainly dependent on farming as it has very few companies offering jobs to the indigenous people.
Exciting Ministry Growth in 2024
Evangelism Training Ministry experienced an exceptional year in 2024. We, along with our Zambia ET Team send our love and a big, joyous thank you to our Ministry Family for their faithful giving and support, in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
In 2024, we were so grateful to be given the opportunity to purchase our own vehicle. This means no more renting or hiring a driver and more ET classes can be taught. This has opened the door to hold TWO Pastor Conferences in 2025!
In 2024, Evangelism Training Ministry also led 46 pastors in learning to share the true Gospel boldly and effectively! And, 446 local people heard the Gospel during on-the-job-training!
Additionally, in 2024 ET planted a new church in the remote area of Lumezi!
We are also excited to announce for 2025, Evangelism Training Ministry has sent two faithful young men on our team, Maxen Jr. and Kenan (pictured), to a local college to study Theology.
May God continue to bless His work in Zambia!
ET Conference 2023: July 31 - August 4
The ET Lusaka Team: Pastor Maxen K. Phiri, Stellia Phiri, Kenan Phiri and Maxen Phiri, Jr., are gearing up for the 2023 Evangelism Training Conference, to be held from July 31 through August 4. It will be held at Linda Baptist Church in Livingstone, Southern Province with host Pastors: Victor Sindila & Patrick Miti.
From the USA, Founder & Director Bob Kuefner and daughter, Shelley Kuefner Washer, will be attending the conference.
Our ET Conference is held near one of the World's Wonders--the magnificent Victoria Falls. On the Zambezi River, forming a natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls was described by the local Kololo tribe as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ (The Smoke that Thunders) for the immense spray and incredible noise caused by the rushing water.
One hundred and forty pounds of materials have been sent to Zambia for the 50 pastors attending. Brother Maxen has received all funds for our Lusaka team's bus transportation and 3 daily meals for attending pastors.
We are expecting a great and mighty work in the name of Jesus!
Pastor Moses Zulu ET Translator
WE ARE BLESSED TO ANNOUNCE PASTOR MOSES ZULU of Rockyview Baptist Church in Lusaka, Zambia,has been a dear friend and supportive member of the ET Ministry. He has been our English to Nyanja translator and is well qualified. Pastor Moses received a Diploma in Theology at Baptist Theological Seminary of Zambia and Master of Divinity, Theology at Virginia Union University, USA. We thank God for Brother Moses!

Evangelism Training equips church leaders to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ truthfully, affectively and boldly. It is our prayer that as a result of Evangelism Training, two things will happen. First, you will become an enthusiastic, effective soul winner in your family, village, province, and wherever you go. 2022 EVANGELISM TRAINING CONFERENCE
WE ARE BLESSED TO ANNOUNCE THE 2022 EVANGELISM TRAINING CONFERENCE IN ZAMBIA'S CHASEFU DISTRICT OF THE EASTERN PROVINCE: August 29 - September 2nd. Fifty local pastors have registered and our Lusaka ET Team is ready to go! At the end of the 5 day training, God willing, there are plans to plant a new church! Thank you for your prayers!
Balm Baptist Church ET Update
We thank God for a successful ET Training that was held at Balm Baptist Church from Friday to Sunday. We thank God that Pastors and Church Leaders were trained and fully equipped to evangelize and train others.

Eastern Province ET Graduates
Congratulations to the 16 Evangelism Training Graduates
We are proud as a Ministry to announce the graduation of our 16 trainees who underwent the ET Training in Eastern Province under Rev Ackim Phiri our active ET graduate who has been so consistent in having ET Classes around Eastern Province since been taught in 2007.
The ET Founders in the USA and The Zambia National Directors are very proud to have such people who have the heart and zeal to train others.
